Stella, the Learning Space, offers a new approach to education based on flexibility, collaboration and other principles of 21st century learning.

Stella is comprised of two main elements, the Stella Link Chair and the Stella Click Pod.
The Stella Link Chair can be used individually, or will attach to others to form a collaboration surface tailored to any number of users. The Stella Click Pod can be enclosed to form a controlled environment, a mini-theatre, or opened to form a multi-functional learning space with audiovisual capability. Stella Links can join the Stella Click Pod when open to create a third layer of participation.

Stella is unlike any traditional classroom environment, facilitating individual and group collaboration and encouraging different learning styles. Stella is a gathering place.

Stella Links to the Stella Click Pod in open configuration to create a third layer of participation. Stella Link Chairs align over the fold-down magnetic panels located at the sides of the Stella Click Pod, and to each other. This is the largest group size available in an amphitheatre style. Your educator can be located at the front platform adjacent to the pull-down projection screen or at the centre circle for an ‘in-the-round’ teaching approach. A minimum of 18 Stella Link Chairs can surround the flexible lounge seating.

The Stella Link Chair is a moveable unit that can travel with the user in order to accommodate varying degrees of group collaboration in a quick and efficient manner. Stella Link Chair groups can be as small as two or as large as you wish. Tabletop units have extension arms so a user can leave the group and the collaboration surface will remain intact. Or, simply unlink and head to your next meeting—no need to look for a seat! The Stella Link chair has ergonomic features, that, along with its linking capabilities, will allow the user to lean back — whether for study or to watch a film at the Stella Click Pod.
